Been on youtube for hours now. Watching video after video of Africa and it’s precious little ones, the slums in India, and mission trip videos from tons of churches. Heart aching for change, breaking at the things I’m seeing, tears flowing, laughing and smiling with pure joy all at the same while i watch these videos unfolding infront of me.
Seeing how God is working in the nations. Yet as I sit here, in my nice warm and cozy bed, I can’t help but long for more.
Not more comfort….
Not more things….
But more of Jesus. More of His work in the nations. To love more. To give more away. more of myself.
This ache has yet to cease and I pray it never does. Seems to only intensify with every picture, video, or story I come across. My longing to bring love into the darkest of places every increasing. Love to the ends of the earth
and beyond.
Lord, keep this desire burning inside me. Don’t let it go out. I won’t allow it. Too much is at stake. The kingdom. Your kingdom is at stake. So with that in mind, I WILL go out and LOVE. “To the ends of the earth and beyond”
